Majlis Penghargaan Pelajar INTEC

I am relieved. The 3 day exam is over! :D but now have to study for Finals that is starting this Saturday D: But never mind, rest first. Today is like the first day of this week I don't go to the study room to study till the wee hours of the morning. Now I have 3 huge pimples on my forehead, each for Physic, Calculus and Chemistry. -.-

Last Friday was Majlis Penghargaan Pelajar INTEC and I am so happy that I got to attend it. It was a formal event and it was at De Palma Hotel in Shah Alam. Surprisingly the hotel was really nice, really grand looking. Who knew there was such a nice place in Shah Alam. :p A lot of people went, every program had to send around 20 students I think and each club/student organization had to send 5 people. A whole lot of us went :) It was so fun being at an event with friends, lots of laughing and they made my night.

It was a wrong decision to sit at that table, know why? Cause they all eat a lot! haha. As usual the program started late and we got really really hungry.

When the first dish came, the food finish so fast! hahaha..but its good to eat with friends, your not shy to take another helping of food and your not shy to scramble with them for the last piece of chicken :p

Main course

There were a number of performances that night and all of it were pleasant. There was this Indian student who played some sort of instrument, I don't know what it is but it sounded pleasant. There was also a group of singers and a silat group doing some moves on stage.

  

Awards such as Best Club, Best Club Activity, Cleanest room ( got such thing one??), Most Excellent Student and etc were given out. There were a lot of awards but I forgot most of them cause I wasn't really paying attention, was busy eating :p Among all the awards, Gajendran Karunithi, my jiju won two awards! 

So happy for him, he deserve it. Raymond was happy cause finally an Indian won an award.Hahahaha..lol,damn funny. Oh, and Raymond cut his hair that day..he has a mohawk kind of thing going on. His an ACTP tycoon with a Serbian tiger pencil case. Don't mess with him. He'll cut your head off, it's in his blood. Oh my, I'm blabbering. Wth.

Though ATUSA didn't win any award, this just makes the association more eager to do something so big it slaps people in the face that its the coolest thing ever! Just you wait.

That's all there is for now. Oh no, it's time to face the dreaded Final Exam week. I am so not looking forward to Ethics test this Saturday. A lot of things to memorize and how is this subject related to my life? It's worse than Pendidikan Moral but at least Pendidikan Moral is easy. Ok, don't complain, study study.

I got something bombastic to tell you! Its so mind blasting it will blow your freaking mind off! Hee..I'm just exaggerating. Well, a few weeks ago my roomie- Liyana Nayan, was watching Bruno Mars's "Just the way you are" and she told me that Raymond Prakash Vijaendran looks like him!! She kinda implanted the idea in my head and the more I look at Raymond the more I think its true! So I have been looking at his pictures and googling Bruno Mars's pictures and here are the results.

Futsal

It's Thursday,the BEST DAY EVER..after class that is. It's usually the most hectic day of the week.hmm..i guess its the best day ever after 4 o'clock.lol. Today is also Futsal day for the guys :) It's so nice, every Thursday they have this futsal competition between classes : Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado and Delaware. Haha..so competitive. Since its only for guys (sexist!) we girls just watch from the side acting coy and demure. haha..wth.

The night ended when this guy came and switch off the court lights -.- such a bummer, Colorado was about to play again! tak puas hati this. Congrats Colorado for winning tonight :) It was fun watching you guys play especially Rouffino. Will look forward to next Thursday for the next match :D ok..ciao everybody. Good night. 

Kolok mee.

I would like to apologise beforehand for this post. I am angry and I can't write well when I am in an angry state. My words get jumble up and I don't know if you know what I am trying to say..fuh..ok.. There was this dinner last Tuesday night at UPM. It was called Majlis Makan Malam Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak or something. Not really sure about it but I went mainly cause of the food. Laksa, kolok mee, kek lapis..*drools* I was kinda exited about it..I think my friends were excited about it too. We kept thinking of what to wear and whatnot. A night that started off with a promise of endless fun and stuffed kolok-mee belly ended up in a gutter of disappointment and fast food.WTH. We arrived at UPM quite early and we had to wait what seem like forever for the VIP's..lambat sial. By the time the VIP came, everyone just wanted to eat. Dahlah lambat datang the speech they give was so loooonnnggggg..omg can die. The speech took like one hour plus and by the time the organisers say can eat already the time was 9++. =.= Dinner was buffet style, there were stations of food all around. One station for laksa, one station for kolok mee, one station for kek lapis. I think that was a good idea but you know what made it such a disaster? NOBODY was there to distribute out the food. Aiyoooo..i'm so pissed just thinking about it. Nobody was there to do crowd control or ask students to line up properly to get the RIGHT amount of food on their plate or bowls. Because no one was there to take control, everyone just grab whatever they could and as much as they could. It was brutal..at first you'll see a pot full of noodles and the next its empty. Licked clean. No trace of anything. Nada. The food just vanished right in front of your eyes. Like magic. Babi. When a station was out of food already the time interval for the next catered food took so long. People had to wait and get mentally prepared for the food race that was going to happen.Sigh. Come on la.. I know you (the organisers) think it was a good idea to make it an all-you-can-eat-buffet but not appointing someone to take care of the food so that it was properly distribute was such a brainless move. Because of that most people couldn't even get the chance to eat that night, especially INTEC students. By 950, there was no hope in trying to eat already. If we were to wait to get our hands on the food we would be late for our curfew which is at 1100pm. After a brief discussion with our guru-guru pengiring, it was wise to make a move and just eat somewhere else. Sigh..damn angry la that time. One cause we Sarawak students wanted so much to eat something that reminded us of home and the other is that people keep passing with one or two bowls of food. Like wth how did they get so much la. Luckily for my table that night Hani managed to get us a plate of kolok mee. Thank you Hani. So kesian you know, i think like 6 people shared a plate of kolok mee. SO SAD. Then later that night the bus stop us at McDonald's for dinner which cost me 10 bucks =.= The only thing that made me happy that night was the fact that I met up with a few of my hometown friends. Philo and Clara, it was so great to met you guys. Its been like forever since we last met. Hope we met up again in the near future :D Now..pictures!

These few days I've been going out a lot..I wonder why. Just the other day I said i didn't go out much..hmm, I guess I shouldn't have said that :p Sorry mee sorry dee..
Last Thursday I really wanted to watch Charlie St. Cloud cause got good review and all from other blogger's so i went to watch it with Marie and Rouffino. :) and Zac Efron is so HOT! and he stripped a few times in the movie. LOL.

I don't know why that day so free also..calculus quiz was postponed, chemistry class started late and ended kinda early(yeah!) and what again..we were bored :p So here are the pictures from that day!

When the movie finished it was already around 1120..pass the college curfew so we got ready an excuse to tell the pak guard :p and i even tried to make my eyes watery so that I look like I'm crying. wth. haha..and guess what. We tak kena saman! yahoooooo..lol. That was the best way to end the night I guess. Oh oh..i forgot to tell you all, guess who we met at the cinema right before we went in...

Then Saturday night, after Sunset Mass. I went out again with Howard, Nathaniel, Connie and Vanessa to uptown Shah Alam. So many fake things there..haha, but the good thing is that it's cheap.

My Wednesday

I love Wednesdays, especially this Wednesday! A series of events occurred today I don't even know where to start. First of all, I love Wednesday cause I only have one class..whee!! like so free today except for calculus homework and extra credit work but still, its one class only. Then then, it gets more exciting when my boyfriend's mum came to give me rendang and ketupat...awww...so sweet..auntie if you are reading this thank you so much for the food. Me and my friends could taste the love that you poured into it in every bite :p Thank you thank you thank you times infinity. lol..The food was so nice, luckily I took picture. XD

Did you know Burger King had a promotion today? They are selling burgers at RM0.99. WTH.. so cheap right? i think the stocks are expiring soon and they have to get rid of it before it does. lol.

It was an incredibly great day except for the fact that the boys didn't get their one dollar burger cause Burger King was so packed with people but they didnt mind cause they were full from the donuts and subway sandwich anyway.

Come to think of it..I don't go out as much as I used to these days and I kinda miss it. But no time to go out also, finals are in another 4 weeks i think..give or take 4 weeks la. Have to study already. To Calculus 3 students, all the best in tomorrow's Calculus Test! You guys can do it! Do the hakka before the test, mesti boleh jawab punya..lol. Don't stress okay...chill je..
